会议简介 Brief Introduction

2024 Spring International Conference on Material Sciences and Technology (MST-S), to be held, in Xiamen, China, April 19-21, 2024, is one of the special tracks within the 10th Spring World Congress on Engineering and Technology (SCET 2024). The purpose of the MST-S 2024 is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the advances and applications of Material Sciences and Technology.

Important Notes：
1. 1. The detailed Program Guide Book (including detailed oral and poster presentations arrangements) will be released in about 45 days before the conference.

2. The authors attending oral sessions should prepare PowerPoint or PDF files for presentations in English (about 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for discussion) and bring them with the USB. Other facilities will be provided by us.
If you prefer giving a poster presentation, please bring the poster to us directly. The size of a poster is 1.6m X 0.6m with four holes in corners.

3. Full papers have been sent for publication processing. If you still would like to publish a full paper, please upload your final paper, submit the copyright and finish the payment for further processing.

4. If you can not attend the event in person, you are welcome to send a poster to us or submit a presentation video of about 15-20 minutes. We will arrange it into the presentation list and play it according to the schedule. All conference materials (program book, journal, invitation letter, certificate, etc.) will be sent to you after the conference.

5. If you prefer finishing the registration and payment on site, please kindly inform us in advance and we will make the conference arrangements for you accordingly.

6. Please check the Refund Policy carefully before you make the payment. Do not book any hotel or flight/train before the final conference program guide book is released. Please check the schedule program, the local policy about Nucleic Acid Detection and quarantine carefully before you book your travel.

Publishing Partner

The papers of MST-S will be published by TTP publishing in Switzerland and submitted to Ei Compendex databases for indexing. Papers of MST conferences over years had been published and indexed by Ei and Scopus already. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about it.

TTP publishing will not accept full paper submissions since January 15, 2024. If you still would like to publish the full paper, you can check another international English journal without EI indexing (CNKI & Google Scholar indexing).

Abstract submission and simple attendance (without presentation) is still accepted.

Transportation

Taxi fee
The price starts for taxies in Xiamen is 8 yuan(USD1.17). It takes about 20yuan to the airport and ferry terminal from the hotel, and 35yuan from Nan Pu Tuo Temple.

Currency/Banking information
Cash plays a very important role in traveling. Hotel’s reception desk offer currency changing service, or you can change money in the banks. Please take your passport with you in case unexpected situation. The operation time of the local banks is 9:00—17:00 on Monday to Friday, and 9:00—12:00 on Saturday. There are also ATM machines around the hotel.

Clothing
A business suite would be proper for business traveling, in other situations, casual clothing would be fine. Summer in Xiamen is hot and humid, which requires cooler dressing while winter here is cold and windy, which requires warming clothes.

Visa
Before you plan visiting China, you have to apply for a visa from the local Chinese Embassy or make a consulting for your trip. The valid period for a traveling visa is 90 days, with an extension by 30 days. If you would like an extension for business visa, you have to go to the Aliens Office in PSB for help, making sure the passport, the hotel registration proof and your business invitation with you.
