He is doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University, a Youth Chang Jiang Scholar of Ministry of Education, and Outstanding Young Scholar of Zhejiang "ten thousand talents plan". He received a doctorate at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in December 2009. He entered Department of mechanical engineering of Zhejiang University to engage in postdoctoral research in January 2010. He has been teaching at Zhejiang University since 2012. He went to the University of Wisconsin Madison for 2-year study in June 2013. He has been engaged in the research work in the field of polymer precision forming technology and equipment in recent years, which focuses on the forming and manufacturing needs of high-end polymer products serving the national strategy and important areas of national economy. Moreover, the organic crossover and combination of machinery, materials and acoustics / magnetism has formed a frontier research direction with its own characteristics and advantages. He presided over national, provincial and ministerial projects and enterprises commissioned horizontal projects, which include 3 projects supported by National Natural Science Fund, sub-project supported by National Natural Science Fund, key project of Zhejiang Province Natural Science Fund. He published more than 50 papers indexed by SCI in authoritative journals. Moreover, he participated and compiled in 1 foreign monograph, 2 textbooks for '13th Five-Year Plan' for undergraduates. He owns 46 applications for national invention patents, of which 39 are authorized. He participated in 2 national standards. Furthermore, he won a first prize in Science and Technology of China 's machinery industry in 2018 and a second prize in National Scientific and Technological Progress in 2019.
