Biography: Qiao Wen received a B.Eng. degree in optoelectronics science and technology and an M.S. degree in optics, both from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, and a Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Since then, he has devoted his career to laser R&D, particularly ultrafast lasers. He is currently an Associate Professor with Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China. He has authored or coauthored more than 20 patent applications and more than 50 journal and conference papers. His current research interests include solid-state lasers, fiber lasers, and their applications.
