Prof. Feng Zhao received the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2000, and the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in computer vision from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He then worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow, Research Fellow, and permanent Senior Lecturer in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Since 2019, he has been with the School of Information Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, where he is currently a Professor and PhD Advisor. His research interests include image processing, biomedical image analysis, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and brain-inspired vision. He has published more than 40 papers in referred international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions, Pattern Recognition, and Neurocomputing. He won the Best Paper Award in ICIDM 2018. As a key researcher, Co-PI, or PI, he has participated in and conducted research projects with a total funding of 85 million.
