Speech Title: Abstract: Bio: Dr. Jun Chen received the B.S degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 1990, M.S. in experimental fluid mechanics from Peking University in 1993, and PhD degree in fluid mechanics from Peking University in 2014. He has been working at Peking University since 1993. His research areas are turbulent flows, coherent structures, the Rayleigh-Bénard convection, aerodynamics, and atmospheric boundary layer. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Fluid Control, Measurement and Visualization, and the member of the editorial board of Journal of Experiments in Fluid Mechanics.
